About Us
The Dallas Archeological Society (DAS) was founded in 1936 and is a nonprofit membership organization
serving the needs of professionals and interested avocationals in the field of
archeology.

Activities
- The Dallas Archeological Societies' monthly meetings
are open to all and visitors are welcomed. We have a different guest speaker
every month, covering a range of archeological topics.
Monthly meetings are usually on the 3rd Thursday of the
month, but may be moved to other dates due to speaker availability. Meetings
are held at 8:00 PM at Southern Methodist
University, Heroy Building, Room 153 (map).
No meetings are scheduled during the summer (June - August). See the
calendar for
upcoming meetings.

Publications
- The Record is a semi-annual publication of the Dallas
Archeological Society. The Record is available to all DAS members upon
publication, or can be purchased by contacting the society.
- In Situ
is the society's monthly newsletter to its membership.
